A Double Proposal in Crete: One Love Story and Two Surprises

Some love stories are full of surprises, and Gianna and Daniella’s is one they will never forget. Both women travelled from the US with the same dream: to propose to the person they loved most, in the beautiful setting of Crete, Greece. What neither of them knew was that they had independently chosen WPG and our sister brand, MILI LO, to help bring their plans to life. For months, we worked behind the scenes to coordinate both proposals, keeping the secret safe until the perfect moment arrived.

For Gianna, the vision was a romantic beachside setting that felt effortlessly elegant while remaining natural, understated and true to their love story. She imagined soft pastel florals, the warm glow of candlelight and a breathtaking sunset over the Cretan coastline. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create an intimate atmosphere that felt both elevated and authentic.

As the couple arrived at the setting, Daniella was completely taken by surprise. The beautiful floral arrangements, the candles and the incredible location made the moment even more special. With smiles, laughter and plenty of emotion, Gianna finally got to ask her question, just two days after Daniella had surprised her with a proposal of her own.

Their photographer captured the little details and genuine emotions that made the experience so personal. While celebrating with a bottle of Champagne, the newly engaged couple enjoyed a golden-hour photoshoot along the beach, preserving the magic of their double proposal against the stunning Cretan sunset.

For Gianna, it was everything she had hoped to create for her favourite person: a meaningful, intimate experience that reflected their relationship and the beauty of the place they had chosen. And for us, being part of a story in which two people independently planned to say “yes” to each other was an especially heartwarming experience.
